Niecy's baby daddy #2 is expecting another child in 2 months and isn't doing much with his life, according to his mother. His mother however, seems to be playing an active role in the baby's life. Baby daddy #1 is back in Georgia from school, after being M.I.A. for a year or two. And somehow this leads to the two of them getting caught having sex in Mary Jane's bed, and their son isn't even there. Way to spend time with your son.
Niecy and MJ end up getting into it, and Niecy calls her out on the empty tequila bottles in her bathroom. MJ really calls Niecy out on depending on others to take care of her and her kids. This leads to Niecy having her grandfather come pick her and her son up. They move back in over there, but Niecy has yet to apologize to her grandmother.
Meanwhile, Kara's work life is blocking any chance she has with her new love interest. She declines lunch, and then is late for their dinner date...leading to a blow up where she tells him she has enough stress in her life without adding him on as another source of stress.
Sheldon surprises MJ at her office to discuss the possibility of him doing an interview. He then surprises her again with a call to her cell in the middle of the night to essentially confirm he will do an interview with her...under certain conditions. And so their story line begins...
SN: MJ has a shot of tequila before bed...then gets back up and takes another shot...that coupled with some scenes from earlier episodes, suggests this season may be dealing with a "drinking problem." Maybe Niecy was right?? We shall see...
