Major highlights:
1) Cicely Tyson came on the show as Annimae's...ehem... Annalise's mother. She did an amazing job! We learned that Annalise was sexually abused by her uncle. She confirms that her mother knew about it, and later in the episode she learns that her mother started the fire that burned their house down with her uncle in it.
2) Wes discovers that the guy who used to live in his apartment was taken to a mental hospital after Becca called the cops on him...and he later learns it was the same night of the murder at the sorority house!
3) Annalise goes to speak to Nate, which is being recorded. She talks to him as if he did kill Sam, but later we see she slipped him a note saying he needs to fire his attorney and call the number she wrote down.
