This Tuesday night, before the return of Real Husbands of Hollywood, BET premiered it's new original comedy series Zoe Ever After starring Brandy! Zoe Moon (Brandy Norwood) was married to Gemini Moon (Dorian Missick), a boxer known for being both one of the greatest and unfaithful. By the end of episode 1, Zoe signs the divorce papers after a failed attempt by Gemini to woo her back (private in-home India Arie performance included). The pair also have an eight-year old son, Xavier (Jaylon Gordon). Before the divorce, Gemini gave Zoe money towards starting her own cosmetics company, which is where we meet Valente (Tory Devon Smith), Zoe's assistant, and Pearl (Haneefah Wood) her publicist and friend from college. The comedy will follow Zoe as she navigates owning her own business, getting back into the dating scene, raising her son in a single-parent home, and of course her new relationship with her ex-husband.
This Tuesday Real Husbands of Hollywood returned and it was just as funny as ever. Kevin Hart recently won a People's Choice Award for favorite cable tv actor for the satirical comedy show that is based on Bravo's Real Housewives series. The show continues to bring the laughs with the likes of Kevin, Nelly, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, and Nick Cannon. Even some of the wives have recurring roles like Tisha Campbell-Martin and Nicole Ari Parker. Most recently they've added Wayne Brady as a recurring character. And the guest stars range from Ed O'Neill to Chris Rock.
