How to Get Away with Murder, S. 1, Ep. 10

Most of the episode takes place in an interrogation room. Annalise and the gang were being interrogated by the police.

Annalise used the death of her husband as an opportunity to say he ran away, because he was guilty of the murder her client was being accused of doing. D.A. Parks wasn't having it! She suggested Annalise was throwing her husband under the bus just to win the case, and even went so far as to have the police hold his laptop despite not reviewing it herself, just to make sure Annalise couldn't find evidence showing her husband committed the murder. I found it interesting how the D.A., and later two other random women, suggested Annalise was cold-hearted for throwing her husband under the bus just to win the case. The random women even called her worse than an animal. Which made me ponder...if you find out your husband impregnated and then murdered one of his students, would you defend him?! Really?? Would you protect him and allow your innocent client to go down for the murder?? Did I miss something??

Thanks to phone tracking on his laptop showing he was at the sorority house at the time of the murder, DNA test results  showing she was indeed pregnant with his child, and a video and witness revealing he took her to get an abortion and was upset that she refused to...the case against Rebecca was dropped. And we are done, right? Of course not! Heck the season isn't over, and no one's gotten away with murder!

Connor finally gets Michaela to agree that the best thing for them to do is confess and say they were just trying to defend Rebecca...and of course ending by throwing Wes under the bus for the murder. Connor and Michaela get Laurel to agree to go with them to turn themselves in.

But...earlier, Annalise reveals the truth about her husband to Frank, who noticed her strange relief after seeing the DNA results showing her husband impregnated the murder victim. Frank reveals to Laurel that he knows what they have done.

So when Connor, Michaela, and Laurel show up to the police station and see Annalise and Wes drive up, it doesn't take long for them to realize Laurel told them they were going to turn themselves in. Annalise convinces them they would have a better chance if they allow her to help them "get away with it."
