This was an interesting episode, because it didn't really focus on Mary Jane. It touches on her dealing with her niece and her kids staying with her, and she kept imagining that she saw David.
But the show really centered on three things... Mark coming out to his parents (his parents were more upset that he wasn't honest, especially since it was his mom who called him out on it...and then his boyfriend left him for continuing to use Mary Jane to pretend to be straight in front of his parents)...Kara getting to know a possible new love interest (if she gets over her whole not dating Latino men)...and finally, the research MJ was doing on child sex trafficking and prostitutes.
Definitely touched on some interesting topics.
