The gist of this episode...
Abby hires Leo to help with the VP nominee, but soon after fires him. Causing him to pack up his things and leave her place. By the end of the episode they are back together. What's with Abby always mixing business with pleasure, but with business that has a conflicting interest at times?
Abby brings in Liv to help prepare the VP nominee, but it turns out Senate approval comes down to Fitz. Fitz has to apologize to the Senate for how he sent troops to West Angola, in order to get them to approve his VP appointment.
Liv helps Rose, her neighbor's friend/lover, find her neighbor's body.
Huck's wife took the B16 files to Rosen, not knowing he was involved in any of the cover-up. Rosen pretends to be concerned, but immediately tells Jake and Huck. Huck reveals it's his wife, and they convince him to testify as she wishes but to lie and say he doesn't remember anything. He initially does, but after having flashbacks of her and their son, he ends up telling the truth and testifying about what happened with B16. Rosen tells Jake he's decided to move forward with the case, while still trying to protect everyone. We'll see how that works out.
